The Reverend Susan Sloan

After fifteen years in professional lay ministry as a Christian Educator, Susan attended seminary at the School of Theology of the University of the South. She was ordained in 1996 and served first as a Canon for Mission and Outreach at the Cathedral Church of the Advent, then associate rector at her home parish of St. Luke’s in Birmingham. In 2002 Susan became an interim rector for The Church of the Good Shepherd in Decatur, followed by a year as interim rector of St. Mark’s Church in Birmingham. In 2005 Susan became the rector of St. Stephen’s. She brought with her experience in diocesan, provincial and national work including curriculum development, program planning, conference leadership, and systems consultation.

 

The Reverend Deacon Lynn Bullard

Ordained to the diaconate in October 2004, Lynn is married to Tommy Bullard and has two sons, Ashley and Thomas. A graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in General Business Administration, Lynn’s ‘day job’ is in the banking industry. Her diaconal ministry is as a chaplain to the street homeless, with an affiliation to First Stop Homeless Day Center, the North Alabama Coalition for the Homeless, and the Alabama Alliance to End Homelessness.
